This exhibition for Melbourne Design Week is a survey of works in timber, steel and ceramic designed by John Wardle and Simon Lloyd. Thirty objects have been selected or commissioned for display in McGlashan and Everist’s iconic modernist building at Heide and reveal the talent and skill of a range of makers from Melbourne, regional Victoria and Hobart. Wardle and Lloyd describe the works as ‘gradients of collaboration’—designed both individually and together through many conversations and a platform of shared drawings.
